The electricians have been in to lay the wiring for all of the power and lighting. We did run into one hitch though, under the new regulations, we can no longer connect to the power via the overhead power lines, the power has to be run underground, at our expense :-(

The slab in the garage has been laid

The shower bases have been installed, and the frame for the bath is in place

I had my own electrician come through and put cabling in for LAN, TV and phone, as well as security cameras. He has laid the cables throughout the house to my specs, and will come back and fit off after we take delivery. The lead flashing around the garage roof has been fitted, but the dorks that fitted it busted about a dozen tiles on the garage roof in the process!

All of the insulation has been fitted to the external walls, and rockwool fitted to the floor cavity for its sound deadening properties.

The spa is now in place, and plumbed

And it needs a good clean!
