OEM MParallel Wheels

18th November 2006

I finally bit the bullet and found a set of OEM MParallel (aka Style 37) wheels to replace the replicas that I had been running for the past 12 months or so. The replicas were OK, except that the offsets were wrong, they were only 18x8 all round, and they were a little heavy. The OEM wheels on the other hand have the correct offset (of course), are 18x8 front and 18x9 rear, and are nice and light

I bought these wheels second hand from a guy in Germany, and had them shipped here. They had a fair bit of curb rash on them, and a few scratches etc, so I took them to Ace Alloy Wheel Repairs and had them repaired, with the centres painted in a highly metallic silver, and the lips polished. I then had the wheels clear-coated. And this is the end result! I’m pretty happy with them.
