Zhuhai

10^th April - 11^th April 2007

Zhuhai is a nice enough city, but it was a shock at first as almost no-one at all speaks any English, and that took us a little while to adjust to. We ended up finding a tourist map that all place names in English and in Cantonese, so that made it very easy to find our way around. It's a fairly dynamic city, there's a lot going on, it all seems fairly modern. At one point, on Monday afternoon, we were sitting in an outdoor mall having “coffee” and there were all of these very beautiful your asian girls walking around, it took us about 15mins to realise that they were in fact prostitutes! Who would have though that they would have been so busy on a Monday afternoon?

Most of the pictures are from a tourist trap called the New Yuan Ming Palace, which was huge, and we had a great time there.
